Greetings, 91Ô´´ Families!

Please accept this sincere thank you for your overwhelming support and collaboration during the COVID-19 pandemic health crisis. It is in times of crisis when a community’s strength of character is shown. As usual, our 91Ô´´â€™ students, staff, and families have demonstrated we are a caring and resilient community.

Survey Reminder

We are seeking your feedback about your experience withÌýdistanceÌýlearning. As of the time of this update, there are 1,169 survey responses. If you have not done so yet, please complete one survey form for each of the children you have in the school district:

The survey closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020. We will share the data from the survey with you as well as any adjustments to ourÌýdistanceÌýlearningÌýplan based on your feedback.

Census

Please make sure you participate in this year’s census — it’s a huge benefit to our community! You can complete the 2020 Census online, by phone or by mail. It is critical in emergency response situations to have census data about where people live. Census data are used to allocate billions of dollars in federal funding each year, including for emergency response services.

As of this April 15, Northfield has a completion rate of 68.6 percent, Dundas has a completion rate of 71.6 percent, and the State is at 59.2 percent. Please remind your family and friends about completing the Census.Ìý

Rice County Social Services Support

During these challenging times, we are focused on supporting families in ways beyond the traditional school-home connections. Rice County Social Services has a variety of supports for families during the COVID-19 pandemic. TheyÌýÌýand how to contact them.

Hang in there!

These are trying times for all of us. Please know your 91Ô´´â€™ family will continue to do our best to support you throughout this crisis. While we don’t know when the pandemic will end, we will get through it together!

Sincerely,

Matt
